Muzamil

My name is Muzamil Jawed, i moved to the US from Canada about 3-4 years ago. This is my second semester here at essex, my major is still undecided but i am most likely going for pre-med as my future goal is to become a doctor. The last thing that I remeber writing was in English 101 last semester where we did a few essays on the presidential candiates and the issues that we felt most strongly about. So i did my essay on the economy and how Barack Obama and John McCain had different political views. I found that I agreed more with Barack Obama's plan at the time, and so he is who I supported on that issue.
Since reading is not somthing that I love to do in my free time, the last book I read was also last semester in English 101. The book was called "election 2008" (i think) and this also had to do with the election and past elections.
The last event that I attented on campus was about fast food nation, I dont remeber the name but we went as a class last semester to hear a speech about food and how that influence us in our daily lives.
On a normal day, I spend about 1 1/2-2 hours in my car. It takes me about a half hour to get here, a half hour to get back. And after that I sometimes go other places depending on the day. but other than that, i spend a lot more time at home.
My goal in the english 102 class is to get better at writing essays, and also to learn as much as i can about different pieces of literature.
